ground works ist ein neues bildhauerisches Format, in dem die Veränderungen in unserer Umwelt und den daraus entstehenden dringenden Fragen des Umganges mit Ressourcen, sowie des allgemeinen Miteinanders, bewußt mitgedacht werden.
Global denken, lokal agieren. Dieser wichtige Ansatz wird mit ground works hier auf ganz bewusste und direkter Weise zum sprichwörtlichen Grund-Gedanken. Bildhauerische Prozesse entstehen direkt vor Ort, arbeiten mit dem Ort, mit der Erde, der Natur, ganz in der unmittelbaren Umgebung und binden somit auch die Nachbarschaft, die vertrauten Orte der Anwohner, mit ein.
Den ökologischen Fussabdruck, eine positive Umweltbilanz vor Augen zu haben, bedeutet unbedingt auch die Materialien und die Orte von Kunst einmal anders zu denken.
Völlig organisch entstehen so, mit der Natur und in der Natur, Kunstwerke, die ganz sprichwörtlich aus der uns nachbarschaftlichen Erde erwachsen, und die sich bewusst in das lebendige ökologische und soziale Gefüge vor Ort einbinden.

ground works is a new sculptural format, in which the change of our environment and the resulting urgent questions of dealing with resources, as well as the general coexistence, are consciously thought through artistically.
Think globally, act locally. This important approach becomes the proverbial basic idea here in a very conscious and direct way.
Sculptural processes are created directly on site, working with the place, with the earth, with nature, completely in the immediate surroundings and thus also involving the neighbourhood, the familiar places of the residents.
Keeping the ecological footprint, a positive environmental balance in mind, necessarily also means thinking differently about the materials and the places of art.
In this way, works of art are created completely organically, with nature and in nature, which quite literally grow out of the earth in our neighbourhood, and which consciously integrate themselves into the living ecological and social fabric on site.
